The Information Security & Risk Management Dialogue Advisory Board is a group of industry experts and leaders representing the UK’s IT security industry.
This panel of selected individuals are in place to review and develop the 2012 conference programme and are working closely with us to ensure that the agenda fully reflects current industry advancements as well as the needs and concerns of C-Level Executives, to ultimately deliver a focused and relevant event.

Sarb Sembhi, Past President, ISACA London Chapter
Sarb is the Director of Consultancy Services for Incoming Thought a Security Consultancy providing C level Security Services and a regular speaker at Information Security Conferences around the world.
Sarb is: Founding Chair of the Security Advisory Group of ISACA London Chapter; Chair of ISACA Region 3 Government and Regulatory Authorities Sub-Committee, and member of the ISACA International GRA Committee; member of the ISACA Cloud Computing Task Force; and was the President of ISACA (London Chapter); a member of ISSA Advisory Board; member of the iGRC Advisory Group; Eurim; and an individual member of the Parliamentary IT Committee.
Quentyn Taylor, Director of Information Security, Canon Europe, Middle East and Africa
As Head of Information Security for Canon Europe, Quentyn has a wealth of experience in both the IT and Information Security arenas.
In his career he has worked in a variety of industries including, outsourced service providers, Internet service providers as well as in a Dotcom before moving to Canon.
For the last few years Quentyn has focused his attention on Canon, working in both the EMEA sense as well as forming business relationships across the whole of Canon worldwide.
His interests in Information Security focus around business integration of information security as well as awareness, as he feels that by educating the users and by allowing them to work in a more autonomous manner, can it be hoped to improve security in a cost effective sustainable way.
Peter Bassill, CSO, Gala Coral Group
Working for over 14 years in information technology, he has 10 years more experience in information security and has spent the last 3 years specialising in Information Security Management. Peter’s expertise covers penetration testing, web application assessment, enterprise risk management and information security business development. A trusted advisor to a number of UK organisations on Information Security, he is also a frequent speaker at Information Security events throughout Europe. Having acquired Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) status, Peter went on to have Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) status awarded to him by the British Computer Society.
Jitender Arora, CISO, GE Capital UK
Jitender Arora is currently responsible for the information security function at GE Capital’s UK business. His team interacts with business owners, technical leadership and other information security professionals to provide a “one stop shop” approach for security based solutions and governance to his customers.
He has 12 years of experience in Information Security and Risk Management working within Financial Services, Manufacturing, Logistics, Technology and R&D. In his previous roles, he has been responsible for defining and executing information security strategy including conducting a strategic review of the security function to assess their maturity, preparing business cases to secure funding for security improvement programmes, presenting business cases, negotiating with senior stakeholders and managing these improvement programmes.
Prior to joining GE Capital UK in October 2011, Jitender worked in various senior management and leadership roles in global organisations like Barclays, Visa Europe, RBS Group, Agilent Technologies and Adobe. He has earned the reputation of being a thought leader in information security by bringing efficiencies and reducing the cost of managing security.
Paul Hennin, Director, EMEA Marketing, Proofpoint, Inc
Paul is an experienced technology marketer with a keen interest in disruptive technologies. He has gained insight into the development of technologies and the market having worked at pre and post IPO companies such as Fortinet and Proofpoint as well as co-founding the wireless networking company FilFree Networks.
